UK Treble Harmony Brigade will be back in 2026 at slightly different time of year so as to not clash with LABBS Harmony College. UKTHB 2026 will be 10-12 July 2026 in Nottingham. When you register for a brigade, you make a big commitment to your fellow brigaders that you will turn up on the weekend having learned the songs thoroughly – that is, to contest standard. We will give you loads of help, support and encouragement (see the Learning Music pages for more information) but in the end only you can learn the music. If you aren’t sure about this, you may want to try an EQ session at Harmony College before doing your first brigade.
In past UK Treble Harmony Brigades we split the songs into two groups. The first 8 were silver-level songs, and everyone committed to learning them in order to come to brigade. The remaining 4 were our gold-level songs, and people could choose whether they learned those as well. Many people set off aiming to do the silver songs and then Went For Gold and learned the gold songs too, and said they had a great weekend as a result! Will you “Go for Gold”?
The price for the brigade depends on whether you want a twin or single room and whether you intend to stay for 2 or 3 nights. Prices include breakfast for every day, dinner on Friday and Saturday and lunch on Saturday. We have reduced slightly our prices for 2026:
- 2 nights in a shared room (Friday-Sunday): £253
- 2 nights in a single room: £340
- 3 nights in a shared room (Thursday-Sunday): £300
- 3 nights in a single room: £427
People who wanted a shared room could ask us to find them someone to share with or they could nominate their own roommate.
Unusually for a brigade we also offered a package for people who wanted to organise their own accommodation, which could be attractive to people travelling with their families or living locally. The price for 2026 is £156, which covers all the brigade costs, dinner on Friday and lunch and dinner on Saturday.
Finally, a quick note about voice parts. We need to keep the voice parts balanced as the brigade fills up so we ask you to tell us your preferred part and also one other part that you would consider singing. This also means that when you register we can’t always confirm you have a place straight away but we will keep you informed during the process.
